The 2012 Digital Art Expo being held at Portals the CVAC Centre for Arts, Culture and Heritage is going brilliantly with recognition from newspapers and most recently this morning on CBC Radio.

One of the greatest gifts of this show has been working with 12 of the most awesome local artists, collaborating and putting the show together to showcase and demonstrate their brilliant and diverse artworks.  In addition the expo is providing opportunities for the artists to share their passion and their expertise in two artist speak events, the next one scheduled for Tuesday, July 24th from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM.

On July 4th we received news coverage from the Cowichan Valley Citizen.

Cowichan Valley Citizen - Digital Art Takes Centre Stage

Which brings us to this morning’s interview with Gregor Craigie on CBC Radio 1. I was so thrilled that they were willing to take the time and bring our Digital Art Expo to their morning listeners and believe it is yet another step in helping us to showcase the talent we have in the Cowichan Valley and the amazing work and medium that is Digital Art.

We are all making a difference and sharing our love of digital art with the world.  Woohoo!
